Prototype Aircraft Fabrication
Prototype Drones forComponent Evaluation
Verify your components in real flight conditions.
We build prototype drones around the component you need to evaluate — motors, propellers, batteries, sensors and more. We handle the airframe configuration, component mounting, power and wiring, and flight tuning, and deliver an aircraft ready for evaluation under the conditions we agree on.
Discuss your component evaluationYou are welcome to contact us before your specifications are fixed.
If this is where you are
Where You Are
- You have the component, but no airframe to mount and fly it on.
- Off-the-shelf aircraft do not match your weight, mounting or power requirements.
- You want to swap components as the evaluation proceeds.
- You want to spend less time building and tuning aircraft, and more on evaluating the component.
We configure the airframe around your component
What We Build
We start from the dimensions, weight and power requirements of the component and what you need to evaluate, then work out the airframe configuration and the mounting method. We propose a configuration to suit the purpose and conditions, electric or hybrid.
If component swaps are planned, we define in advance what can be swapped and how it is checked. Depending on the change, re-tuning and functional checks will be required.
Flight control software is ArduPilot by default. Proprietary controllers and similar requirements are handled case by case.
Components we work with
Components
Propulsion and power
Payload and communications
Structure and interconnect
Flight controllers and safety equipment such as parachutes are handled individually, including the test method and the safety conditions involved. Components not originally developed for drones are also welcome. Whether we can take the work on depends on the component specification and the evaluation involved.
Aircraft we have built
Our Aircraft

We have also built electric drones from small to large, large hybrid drones, power generation drones, and unmanned aircraft in the over-150 kg class. For the unmanned aircraft we conducted flight testing under Japan's unmanned aircraft regulations — only the second such case in the country.
What we deliver
Deliverables
- The aircraft itself, assembled and tuned.
- Mounting hardware for the agreed evaluation components.
- Documentation covering the configuration, operating conditions, handling and inspection.
- Functional check records as defined in the contract.
Whether transmitters and receivers, batteries, chargers, fuel-related equipment, measurement instruments and spare parts are included is stated explicitly in the quotation.
Support after delivery
Evaluation Support
We can carry out or assist with test flights, capture and organise flight logs, and produce mounting hardware and re-tune the aircraft when components change. We confirm the location, the test content and the measurements required, and quote these separately from the aircraft build.
Test flights
We can conduct test flights, attend, or assist. We confirm the location, the flight conditions and who is responsible for what.
Flight logs
We confirm the log items and delivery format you need, and support capture and organisation. Additional instrumentation and analysis are handled case by case.
Component changes
We produce mounting hardware and re-tune the aircraft when components change. The change and the checks it requires are defined in advance.
From enquiry to delivery
Process
Enquiry
Tell us the component, what you need to find out, and your timing.
Discussion of components and conditions
We go through the component specification, the purpose of the evaluation, and how the aircraft will be operated.
Proposal and quotation
We propose the scope, the deliverables, the cost and the approach.
Agreement and contract
We agree the aircraft specification, the functional check conditions, the deliverables and who does what.
Design, build and functional check
We build the aircraft to the agreed specification and carry out the defined checks.
Delivery
We deliver the aircraft together with the mounting hardware and documentation defined in the contract.
Where detailed engineering study is required, we set out its scope and cost. Specification changes after the build has started, and additional testing, are quoted separately once the content is confirmed.
Before you commission us
Questions & Answers
Can we operate the delivered aircraft ourselves?
Yes, within the scope of testing and evaluation defined in the contract. Component swaps and setting changes should follow the scope and procedures agreed in advance. Depending on the change, additional checks and tuning will be required.
Are drawings and intellectual property included?
The standard scope is delivery of the aircraft together with the mounting hardware and documentation listed in the quotation. It does not include transfer of intellectual property in our airframe design and manufacturing know-how, nor the supply of drawings or CAD data for the purpose of copying or mass-producing the aircraft. Rights in your own components and in the material you supply remain with you. Third-party products and software follow their respective licence terms.
How are test results and unpublished component information handled?
We conclude a non-disclosure agreement before any confidential information is disclosed. Delivery and permitted use of evaluation data are agreed in advance, and we do not publish your name, component information, images or evaluation results as a reference case without your prior consent.
Do you guarantee component performance or certification?
The aircraft is built to the agreed specification and check conditions. This is not a service that guarantees the performance of the component under evaluation, its adoption in a product, or its certification. How the aircraft is checked, and the scope of warranty and repair, are stated explicitly in the contract.
Discuss your component evaluation
Tell us the component, what you need to find out, your timing, and how the aircraft will be operated. You are welcome to start from whatever information you have.
Detailed confidential information is received after a non-disclosure agreement is in place.
